Amending an existing car

I want to open an existing car and amend it - I am trying to guess how to do it, but if there is a 'normal' way of doing this, let me know.

There is currently a Renault 4, and I need to create a Renault 4 van (I am in France and we race them here so I wanted to use one for personal use).

I managed to use WinResTools to extract the renault4.car file into the pacecar?.mod files plus a few others.

I can see all of the pacecar?.mod files in 3DSimEd.

But I cant open them in 3D Studio Max ver 3.1. - can I get them into 3D Studio Max somehow?

Thanks for any pointers on which direction to go to achieve this.

Make sure you have the .mod plugin for 3dsMax installed.. Sounds like you should be looking at the high1 and high0 of the car thou. Wink
